After some time following what proved to be dead ends, I was advised by a local gallerist to approach Mr. Stöckli – the manager of East Cinemas AG. Mr Stöckli, I was informed, is a well-known owner of erotic cinemas throughout both Zürich and Switzerland, and added to this, and in favour of the artwork, he is a collector of contemporary art. Two months after making an initial contact, I received a brief e-mail from Mr. Edi Stöckli, letting me know, in a short number of characters, that he was interested in helping to realise this artwork. The site for the work´s display would be the aging Roland Kino, a building that sits in the heart of Zürich´s red light district. Famous to some, this is a building that is known as Switzerland´s first publicly accessible erotic cinema. With assistance from both Mr Stöckli and his daughter Zoë Stähli, the artwork was completed and then shown in June of 2010.
