Though I didn´t know it at the time, this artwork would come to mark the end of a period where I would seek to make site-specific, temporary public art. What was it during this period that had me drawing inspiration from the discarded, the abandoned, and the disused? It was as if by looking into the subject of demise I was creating some document that would speak to my own near future.
