During the years that led up to the creation of this work, a strong push was made by the art school´s staff to look upon the production of contemporary art as a global phenomenon. European and American models held a commanding presence in class, and this, in addition to my tutors´ strong predilection for prizing the interior and the imaginative seem now to have left a large mark on my thoughts and activities that were undertaken in this time.
