In the days and weeks that followed I pored over the things I'd collected during the course of my initial visit, all the time looking for a theme or motive that might engage both the space of the gallery and the broader event that would occur during the time of the exhibit. Some old film-festival catalogues seemed to draw my attention, and whilst looking at their images of open-air screenings, I began to go back over my own rather blurred snapshots and poorly developed pictures, settling, for some reason, on the photos of stained glass windows I´d taken whilst exploring the interior of the San Antonio church. Perhaps it was here that I found myself moving toward the subject of the illuminated image.
