About a year after finishing with my studies in Weimar, I was invited back to participate as a maker of art within the programme of an academic conference. Running under the title "An Bord der Bauhaus" – the topics of place, movement, and transition were the stated subjects of interest for this event, and like the lecturers, assistant professors, and professors who were required to write a paper and present a talk within the context of this conference, I too was asked to produce an original creative work that would reflect on the above-mentioned topics. After spending some time thinking about these things I began to draw upon my prior impressions of Weimar, and what developed from this point was an artwork that sought, in some way, to infiltrate the town's public space.
